现代诗的意象转型与中国诗学的再发现

摘要:

面对19世纪末英语诗歌在语言与形式上的定式化倾向,中国传统意象理论以其独特的诗学生命力,逐渐成为西方诗人重新发现与再阐释的重要思想资源。费诺罗萨与庞德通过对中国诗学的跨文化阐发,使“意象”从修辞性形象转化为现代诗的核心结构原则;休姆立足于柏格森直觉主义与“幻想”机制的理论革新,在美学诉求上与中国传统象思形成深刻的跨文化共鸣;艾略特则通过“客观对应物”理论,在现代诗实践中重新确立了语言与经验之间的关联。本文从“意象”的本体论意义、隐喻-幻想机制与象意结构出发,探讨现代诗意象体系的转型路径,揭示中国诗学在这一过程中如何被重新发现并获得新的解释维度,从而推动现代诗在语言结构与诗学思维方式上的深层变革,并为当代中国诗学的理论自觉与全球化语境下的再建构提供重要启示。

Abstract:

In response to the increasing formalization of language and poetic form in late nineteenth-century English poetry,the traditional Chinese theory of imagery,with its distinctive poetic vitality,gradually became an important intellectual resource rediscovered and reinterpreted by Western poets.Through their cross-cultural engagement with Chinese poetics,Ernest Fenollosa and Ezra Pound transformed“imagery”from a rhetorical figure into a fundamental structural principle of modern poetry. T.E. Hulme,drawing upon Bergsonian intuitionism and the theoretical innovation of the mechanism of“fancy”,developed an aesthetic orientation that resonates profoundly with the traditional Chinese mode of imagistic thinking. T. S. Eliot,through the concept of the“objective correlative”theory,reestablished the connection between language and experience in modern poetic practice. Starting from the ontological significance of imagery,the mechanisms of metaphor and fancy,and the structural relation between image and meaning,this article examines the transformative trajectory of the imagistic system in modern poetry. It reveals how Chinese poetics was rediscovered in this process and endowed with new interpretive dimensions,thereby contributing to profound changes in the linguistic structure and poetic modes of thought in modern poetry,and offering important insights for the theoretical self-awareness of contemporary Chinese poetics and its reconstruction in a global context.
