文明互鉴是人类文明发展的基本规律。在不同文明之间的交流与互动中，“椭圆形折射”理论与变异学理论为世界文明互鉴提出了全新的理论体系和交流机制。大卫·丹穆若什提出的“椭圆形折射”理论认为世界文学场域中的文化具有双重性的特征，并以光线折射的方式形象地揭示了文明互鉴过程中各种思想文化交流的形态与路径；比较文学变异学理论重视文化过滤和文化误读基础上不同文化在选择与接受过程中的变异与创新机制。“椭圆形折射”与变异学共同构建的理论体系全面而深入地审视了文明互鉴的内在机制，使各种文明在交流与互动中产生新的思想和观念，从而推动世界文明的创新与演进。

Mutual learning among civilizations is a fundamental law of the development of human civilization. In the exchanges and interactions among different civilizations,the elliptical refraction and variation theory has proposed a brand-new theoretical system and methodological mechanism for the mutual learning among world civilizations. The elliptical refraction theory proposed by David Damrosch holds that cultures in the world literary field have the characteristic of duality,and vividly reveals the forms and paths of various ideological and cultural exchanges in the process of mutual learning among civilizations in the form of light refraction. The variation theory of comparative literature attaches great importance to the variation and innovation mechanisms of different cultures in the process of selection and acceptance based on cultural filtration and cultural misinterpretation. The theory jointly constructed by elliptical refraction and the theory of variation comprehensively and deeply examines the internal mechanism of mutual learning among civilizations,enabling various civilizations to trigger new ideas and concepts in the process of communication and interaction,thereby promoting the innovation and evolution of world civilizations.
